Ben Macintyre's book The Siege was serialised in The Times (unsurprisingly) recently. Not my usual type of read but it was superb. I witnessed the events live on TV at the time so it had a resonance too.
I didn't know "The Siege" had been serialized, but I can see why the book would work well in that form. Macintyre uses a lot of literary devices that would lend themselves to it, such as cliffhanger endings for chapters, which I'll mention in my review. Thanks!
